The description on this item states that it is NEW. It was in a sealed pouch, but it has all the scratches evident of being put in and taken out of the phone many times. It is not. The battery I received was much more worn than the one I already have. I would always give 1 star for a merchant that lies about the status of a product. I'm all for buying and using USED equipment, but I prefer to know that it's used when making my purchasing decision.
Even though the battery is new, the phone still won't hold a charge any longer than before. I'm glad this product only cost $7.
Amazon.com did again what they do so well.always seem to amaze me with how quick they ship orders; way to go Amazon.com. I can't say the same for the item BUT that might not be the battery - it might be the phone itself. It would have been helpful to know that the standard battery needs to be charged twice per day and the extended life battery recommended as a preferred alternative.
